mckinney.jpg Betty Jo McKinney has bred and exhibited Shelties for over 40 years under the Kinni prefix. She has bred and finished a number of champions and titled several Shelties in obedience. She is the author of two books and the President/CEO of Alpine Publications, Inc., which has published more than 300 dog and horse book titles. Prior to that she was employed in the news media, public relations and publications for over 15 years. She resides in Colorado with her husband, several Shelties, a Great Pyrenees cross, Quarter Horses, Nigerian Dwarf Goats and both Highland and Longhorn cattle. Her hobbies are watercolor painting, hiking, horseback riding, and photography.
