AVAILABILITY
When a book is pictured on this website, you can assume it is in stock and available for shipment. Watch for "LOW STOCK" notations and call for availability before placing multi-copy orders for that title.

A few titles are not discounted. These include specialty books printed "on demand" and tiles that we purchase from other publishing houses for resale. You will find these titles listed with the notation "No Retail Discount" on the book's description page. If in doubt, check before placing an order.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No overstock returns are accepted. Invoices must be paid on time or future orders will be placed on hold. Credits for claims cannot be deducted until a credit memo has been issued by Alpine Publications. Orders will not be filled if an account has an overdue balance.

PAYMENT
PREPAYMENT is required unless you have an established account.

Checks, money orders, Master Card, Visa or bank transfers are accepted. Credit terms are available to qualified resellers with approved credit references.

If you wish to open a credit account with us, please contact Customer Service for a credit application. You must prepay for your first order.

CREDIT TERMS
After an account is approved, terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice except by special arrangement. Credit cards are not accepted for payment of account invoices.

  • A late charge of 1.5% per month is assessed on all overdue amounts.
  • No new orders will be filled for customers with an overdue balance.
  • A 2% discount is allowed for payments that are received within 15 days from date of invoice.

SHIPPING
All orders are shipped FOB Crawford, CO 81415. Orders to destinations in the lower 48 states are shipped via FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. Additional shipping methods are available by special arrangement.
Canadian orders are shipped via the postal service.
International orders are normally shipped via air or surface Parcel Post insured or via UPS International. Large orders can be shipped by commercial carrier to your freight broker in the United States.

CLAIMS
PLEASE REPORT SHIPPING PROBLEMS IMMEDIATELY. No credit will be given for damage or shortage reported later than 15 days following delivery.

Save the packing and have your invoice number and the method of shipment handy when you call to report damaged, defective, or short shipments.  Defective books must be returned for credit or replacement.

For pro forma invoices, additional information, or to request a retail catalog or credit application, call or fax between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Mountain time. You may leave a message on our voice mail at any hour.

HOSTING AN AUTHOR SIGNING OR EVENT
Most Alpine authors are available to speak or autograph books at your events. Alpine will provide books on consignment. Returns are allowed within 30 days after the event.
