Robert A. Kainer, DVM, MS, is Professor Emeritus of Anatomy, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science, Colorado State University. He has contributed to over 60 research papers and textbooks. Thomas O. McCracken, MS, is Vice President for Product and Development, Visible Productions LLC, and formerly Director of Biomedical Media in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science at Colorado State University. He has illustrated numerous veterinary medical textbooks and more than 75 scientific papers. He has won numerous awards of excellence from the Association of Medical Illustrators.
