AUTHORS PAMELA DENNISON AND JOLANTA BENAL
Involved in training dogs since 1992, Pam Dennison started her own business, Positive Motivation Dog Training, in 1997. Teaching puppy kindergarten, beginners, Canine Good Citizen, musical freestyle, Rally and competition classes, she works with every breed, from Dachshunds to Great Danes. She has become a well-respected authority on canine behavior and re-training with her behavior modification, seminars and Camp R.E.W.A.R.D for aggressive and reactive dogs. Her students have earned a multitude of titles and certificates in obedience, Rally, tracking, sheepherding, Canine Good Citizen and therapy dog programs.
Jolanta Benal became a professional trainer as an outcome of learning how to successfully help her newly adopted dog-aggressive puppy. She discovered that the usual guidelines for working with aggressive dogs didn’t always apply in a dense urban environment like the one she lives in. She now teaches manners classes and works with private behavioral clients in New York City.
