AUTHOR BIO
Jeanne Joy Hartnagle-Taylor is the third generation to enjoy a lifetime association with Australian Shepherds, and along with her famly was the first kennel (Las Rocosa) admitted into the Australian Shepherd Hall of Fame for breeding excellence. From the time she was a small child she saw and used the breed in the ranch environment for which it was developed. She has given training seminars in the U.S. and Europe, developed a highly acclaimed stockdog training video series, and is the author of four books. Her experience has taken her from exhibits at livestock expositions to working wild bison for the U.S. Dept. of Interior. She has judged the European championships at the Continental Sheepdog Trials and is an accredited ASCA conformation and stock dog judge and AKC herding judge.
