AUTHORS MIKI AND JULIE COLLINS

Miki and Julie Collins have been running sled dogs an average of 2,000 miles a year since 1974, hauling freight, traveling an 80-mile trap line, and exploring the wilderness of interior Alaska and Canada. They have competed in several major sled dog races and given dog sled tours in Denali National Park. They’ve written three books and are regular contributors to Mushing Magazine and the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner along with numerous articles published in Dog Fancy, Field and Stream and other publications.
